Abstract

Social media is a complete source of public information. Social media also provides facilities for investors to freely determine how to invest. News about how to invest and how to implement it is available in abundance, especially with the existence of social media platforms. Qualitative writing methods with writing techniques in the form of narrative reviews sourced from literature studies consisting of laws or regulations, scientific journals, electronic newspapers, and so on. Public interest in investing has continued to grow in recent times, as illustrated by the number of investors that continues to grow from time to time. Based on data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), during the Covid-19 pandemic the number of investors in the capital market increased significantly by 65.74% as of September 2021, the number of investors reached 6.65 million, which was up 3.88 million from the position at the end of 2020.
